The Amazon reef was only recently discovered in the middle of the murky freshwater at the mouth of the Amazon basin. This reef is exceptionally unique because it is the only reef to be found at the mouth of a major river anywhere in the world, and it is unprecedented for a reef of its size (over 100 kilometers long) to exist in such conditions.
Our Amazon is made of dark Wenge wood to remind you of this unusual reef and to discover something new every day!
