7 Reasons Why You Should Spend More Time in Nature
We love to spend time in Nature! Why?
Because it can make you incredibly happy :)
If this is not already enough for you, then here are 7 reasons to spend more time outdoors.
1. Vitamin D.
Vitamin D is essential to our lives and unlike other vitamins, it can be produced by our own body. To do so, you can only do one thing: go out in the sun! Another option would be to drink a lot of fish oil, but why do that if one can have an excuse to get a tan? It helps our metabolism, the immune system, serves the bone structure and, above all, it provides good mood :)
2. Incredible Landscapes
Beauty is known to be in the eye of the beholder.
But have you ever met anyone who does not like the sight of mountains, lakes or colorful flowers? ?
These views, unique landscapes or colorful flower meadows, help us look at the world from a different angle. Fresh air, exercise and the experience of many new stimuli let us out of our thought bubbles and boost our creativity. Go on, go outside and get inspired!
4. Activate Your Brain
Nature is constantly changing and, for example, offers new stimuli throughout with change of season. Whether rustling autumn leaves or buzzing bees in spring - keep your eyes and ears open and let your senses work for you.
5. More Exercise
Of course, who spends a lot of time in nature, usually moves more! Additionally, it has been scientifically proven that open air exercising is perceived as less exhausting compared to indoor activities, like going to the gym.
6. Less Stress
Those who spend more time in nature often feel less stressed. Natural sounds such as birdsong and various plants, such as trees and flowers, have a calming and comforting effect on us. It has also been proven that going regularly on a walk, help to relieve emotional stress and strengthen personality.
7. A Happier Life
Anyone who spends time in nature tends to feel a little happier after, don’t we? ;)
