Description

Eiger is the easternmost peak of a ridge crest in the Bernese Alps, which along with Mönch and Jungfrau, make up one of the most iconic hallmarks of the Swiss Alps. Eiger has a north face of rock and ice 5,900 feet (1,800 m) tall, making it the largest north face in the Alps.

Rock and ice aside, a special treat awaits the hiker wandering through the Bernese alps during early to mid-summer, when the bright blossoms of alpine roses bloom in the meadows and rocky high ground. Our model made of birch wood and amaranth should represent the flora and of this beautiful region.
